Ofsted has confirmed that any Sheffield education setting can adopt the safeguarding procedures that are set out on the Sheffield Children Safeguarding website. The Local Authority is responsible for ensuring that the details set out in their safeguarding policies and procedures are accurate and updated annually or whenever necessary.

The St Clare Catholic Multi-Academy Trust now provides the policy for our school and all its members, to ensure that there is consistency. In doing this, the trust accepts responsibility for ensuring that the policy is up-to-date and meets all requirements, including those of the DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024.
