Y5 Be Safe Be Happy Week 2025: Visit of the RNLI

Our Y5 children were visited by a representative from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) who told everyone about the work of the RNLI, how it is funded, how it is run by volunteers, and the different and special lifeboats that it uses to rescue people and keep them and the RNLI volunteers safe. The representative from the RNLI also talked about the potential risks for those in the sea and any open water, and the steps that should be taken to keep safe. 

A big thank you to the RNLI for visiting, and for all the hard work they do all year around!
