Y5 Be Safe Be Happy Week 2025: A Visit from South Yorkshire Police

7th Nov 2025

Our Y5 children enjoyed a special visit from PC Connell, who arrived in a patrol car and showed them a variety of helmets and equipment used by police officers in different roles. The children were also able to sit inside the car and had great fun trying out the different sirens! PC Connell explained that the police are there to protect and keep everyone safe, and he was very impressed with the children’s thoughtful questions and excellent behaviour.

A big thank you to PC Connell and South Yorkshire Police for visiting us and making the day so memorable!
