Year 4 Religious Education: The Real Gift at Christmas

20th Dec 2023
As we come to the end of our topic exploring "The Gift" in RE, we have been thinking about the true messages behind gift giving at Christmas.

The children have identified that Jesus is the real gift that we have been given by God, and how important that gift is. They have also explored the symbolism behind the gifts from the Wise Men, and what they represent about Jesus' life.

As we enter the final week of Advent, the children created postage stamps with designs that show the true meaning of Christmas, and we discussed how we use Christmas Cards to spread God's word. The children worked really hard, and their designs are absolutely beautiful.
