Y4 English/RE: The Annunciation!

This week we have started to explore the annunciation (When Angel Gabriel visited Mary to tell her that she was going to have a baby).

We used Luke 1: Verses 26-38.

The images attached show the children working in groups, reading the Bible passage in order to learn about the significance of this important event. They then spent time editing their versions in order to improve the language by adding grammatical structures like expanded noun phrases, fronted adverbials and modifying prepositions.
