Y6 Writing: Westminster Abbey

Following last month's visit to London, the children of Y6 have this week created these fantastic reports about Westminster Abbey, one of the many landmarks that we visited. Every child has supplemented their existing knowledge of the Abbey with a great deal of research, which they have then presented as non-chronological reports. Each piece of writing details the fascinating thousand-year history of one of the world's most famous churches, including its foundation under Edward the Confessor, the many famous names entombed their and its use as the place at which the British sovereign is crowned.
