Y6 Science: Investigating the Anatomy of the Eye

15th Oct 2021

As part of this term's science unit on light, we have been exploring the function of the eye, finding out how it processes light so that we can see. We have used anatomical diagrams to identify the constituent parts of the eye, such as the cornea, retina and optic nerve. We then learnt about how the eye takes in light, how the lens focuses this light and how the optic nerve carries visual messages from this light to the brain, so that we can see.
