This week the children of Y6 continued to study electricity. Having studied how current and voltage behaves within series circuits, the children designed and built their own electrical buzzer games, applying their growing knowledge practically, in experiments.
In teams of three, they designed themes, giving names to each of their games, before using scientific symbols to construct diagrams of the circuits that would power them.
Finally, they experimented using different configurations of components to prove that voltage divides equally between each component in series circuits.
