This week, the young people of Y6 began to study their first unit of the Y6 RE curriculum, which focuses on the first book of the Holy Bible: the Book of Genesis. The children explored the story of Creation, recounting in detail Genesis' account of God's seven-day formation of the world, before creating beautifully illustrated pieces of work which detail their understanding of the topic.
We look forward to continuing our study of this unit in the coming weeks, when we shall explore stories and concepts such as the origin of the Israelites and God's covenant with Abraham.
