Y6 Maths: Translation & Reflection

19th Jan 2025

This week the children of Y6 have been working hard to achieve our current mathematics objective: to accurately translate and reflect shapes across x and y axes. The children have worked very hard to understand not just the methods by which we can translate and reflect various shapes, but how to read and plot coordinates, how best to approach various question types relating to this objective as well as how to read and interpret information on four-quadrant graphs.

The children have made excellent progress towards this important objective within the Y6 maths curriculum and they should feel very proud of their efforts.
