Y6 Mathematics: The Mayan Number System

As we come to the end of our academic year we have been investigating some different ideas in our Maths lessons.

This week we looked at the Mayan number system and how they write their numbers.

At first we were so confused, but eventually we understood and played some games with the numbers. 

It was tricky but really fun!
