Y6 Mathematics: Rounding in Context

This week the children of Y6 have been learning how to round decimals and six and seven-digit numbers. They have all successfully applied the method for rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000, as well as all three decimal places. Our learning then progressed, as we investigated how to round numbers in various contexts.
