Y6 Geography: Climate Zones

This week, the children of Y6 began their Climate Zones & Biomes unit of geography work. We began by exploring the concept of climate - including how this differs from weather - as well as the various elements of climate such as air temperature, humidity and wind speed. The children then identified the characteristics and locations of the four climate zones: Polar, Temperate, Dry and Tropical. Finally, the children created these wonderful fact files in their workbooks to record their learning.
