Y6 Geography: Castleton

15th Sep 2022

Our Geography unit this term focuses on the Derbyshire village of Castleton, which we will be visiting on our forthcoming Hollowford residential.

We studied aspects of both the physical and human geography of Castleton, as well as the history of its founding during the Norman conquest of England.

We have created fact files which detail facts relating to Peveril Castle, Castleton's location within the Peak District, the caverns surrounding the village and tourism within Castleton.
