Y6 English: Writing Dialogue

This week, the young people of Y6 have each drafted and edited a piece of writing based on Chapter Nine of Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone, The Midnight Duel. The children have paid close attention to dialogue in this piece, ensuring that they use accurate punctuation and that speech is reflective of each character. Furthermore, we have explored various ways in which to structure our supporting clauses in order  to enhance the sophistication of our writing.
