Y6 Coronation Day!

6th May 2023

To mark last weekend's coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the children of Y6 took part in a range of different activities. As a class, they discussed the significance of the event, exploring the history of the coronation ceremony as well as relating the London landmarks involved to our upcoming visit to London.

The children also had lots of fun at the SJF celebratory lunch, where the they had a chance to spend time with their class buddies in Years 2 and 3.

Finally, the Y6 children created some wonderful portraits of His Majesty to mark the occasion!
