Y6 STEM Fortnight: Science Author Visit

13th Jan 2023

As part of SJF STEM Fortnight, the young people of Y6 were very happy to welcome children's author, Darren Charlton, into our classroom to discuss his book, Lucy and the Secret Room.

Our Y6 children prepared a range of questions for Darren, which he very kindly answered for them.

Lucy and the Secret Room is a work of children's science fiction, and everyone was very interested to listen to the story of how Darren's passion for science and love of reading to his daughter culminated in the writing of this novel.

The children of Y6 would like to say a big thank you to Darren for what was a fascinating and very fun visit!
