Y6 Art: Our Banksy-Inspired Portraits

As our Y6 artists approach the end of their art unit, they have each produced their own fantastic Banksy-inspired self-portraits after studying the work of the world famous street artist, Banksy, over the course of Term 1.

The children have explored who he uses stencilling and both light and shadow to produce his pieces.

The children worked hard to develop a range of technical skills, including sketching, painting and stencilling, as they practised, before - finally - having a go at producing their self-portraits.
