Y5 RE: Sikhism

25th Jun 2021

This week in RE we have been exploring the Sikh faith. We have been comparing and contrasting the tenets of the faith with those of other major world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism. We have also learnt about the central principles of Sikhism; prayer, work and giving to others. In addition to this we have learnt the meaning of some fantastic new vocabulary including monotheism, polytheism and fellowship, as well as lots of words unique to Sikhism. Finally, we recorded all of our newly-learnt knowledge in our RE books.
