Y5 Science: Investigating the Properties of Materials

This week in Science the Y5 children have been investigating the physical properties of solids, liquids and gases relevant to separation techniques. In their practical work they separated mixtures using filtering and sieving techniques before evaluating how effectivene each separation method was for different mixtures.
