BSBHW 2019: Y5 Road Safety

On Thursday Y5 were visited by members of the GIST haulage company. They taught us about the risks of moving vehicles. We found out about vehicle blind spots, the stopping distances of vehicles in different weather conditions and the importance of pelican crossings. Most importantly, we learnt how best to keep ourselves and others safe when near roads. We even made some fantastic information leaflets about road safety!
