This week the Year 5 children have been learning about different historical periods and events.
We have been placing these periods into chronological order and learning some key facts about them. We have learnt about the history of the Gregorian calendar, as well as the key dates relating to historical periods such as the Stone Age, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Ancient Egypt - our topic for this half term.
Being able to place the Ancient Egyptian civilization into a chronological timeline will help us to understand this period in history more deeply.
