Y4 Welcomed Gladiator Steel

6th Jun 2025

This week we had a special visitor in school : Gladiator Steel!  Steel shared his story of success over adversity and the importance of maintaining a positive mind set and self-belief.  He shared some practical advice on how to stay fit and healthy.  He then visited each classroom to answer any questions.  Here are some of the things our Y4 children had to say about his visit.

  • "Steel's visit was fantastic for me because he showed me that you can do anything as long as you don't give up!  It was also fun when he stood on his hands!"

  • "He inspired me to drink more water and be more active"

  • "When Steel came to my school he inspired me.  Even though you have allergies or a disability you can still achieve your goal"

  • "Steel's visit was very fun and exciting and he inspired me to become a Gladiator as well. I was amazed by his life story".

  • "Steel's visit taught me that I should never give up and I was impressed by his handstand walk. He inspired me to be a Gladiator because you can do anything!"

  • "Steel's visit taught me that whoever you are you can follow your dream! We all loved it!"

  • "Steel's visit inspired me. I now want to become an Olympic athlete runner."

  • "I learned a lot about Steel.  He inspired me because he once had a torn bicep and he never gave up. It's inspired me not to give up with an injury to my leg."

  • "Steel has inspired me to follow my dreams too."
