Y4 Super Skippers!

27th Jun 2025

Our Y4 children had a wonderful end to the week when they took part in the Sheffield Catholic Schools Skipping Competition and everyone was so proud of the effort and resilience that they demonstrated.

Some children demonstrated skipping techniques they knew well, whilst others challenged themselves challenged themselves to learn and perform new skipping styles on the day.

All the children did well, with special congratulations to the three who received special awards for standing out to the organisers for demonstrating determination, self-belief and teamwork.

Another mention to our two super skippers who were presented with a citywide Bronze Award for the Side Swing skipping style and a Gold Award for the Single Bounce skipping style. An awesome achievement with 89 recorded single skips counted in just 30 seconds! Well done, girls!

Mrs Hambleton and the adults who accompanied the class were incredibly proud of all the Y4 children for the way they supported one another; for trying their best; and for having lots of fun! Well done, everyone!

A huge 'thank you' to our staff team and volunteers, and to our frinds from LINKS who organised this special event!
