Y4 Science: Classifying Minibeasts

Our Y4 Scientists took their classification knowledge out into the field this week and went on a minibeast hunt around our beautiful school grounds. The children used a classification key to determine the names of different species and followed a careful process to confirm that their answers were correct. Key finds included a woodlouse, a worm, several spiders and funghi. 

Well done, Y4, Carl Linnaeus would be proud!
