Y4 Science: Exploring Food Chains

Our Y4 children have been exploring food chains and food webs in science this week. They learned that sunlight is the original source of energy at the start of every food chain on Earth. The children identified producers, as well as primary and secondary consumers, with the predator at the top of the chain. They were also able to classify consumers as herbivores, carnivores or omnivores. Great work, everyone!
