Our Y4 children have started their final Art & Design unit of the year which focuses on the extraordinary Pop Art movement! In their first lesson, they explored the Pop Art movement and focusing particularly on the style and work of key artists, most notably Roy Lichtenstein.
Then, drawing upon prior learning related to primary and secondary colours, they considered how Pop artists tended to use complementary colours in order to make such bold and appealing artwork, before having a go too!
