Y4 Music: The Pentatonic scale

Our Y4 children ended their week in song! During our music lesson they sang along to the popular gospel choir song 'This little light of mine'. They then learned about the five-note pentatonic scale and discovered that they could easily become a choir just by simply moving around within the octave! 

They also learned a new song, set to Beethoven's famous 'Ode to Joy' and transferred their new learning onto tuned instruments - our glockenspiels.  Well done, children!
