Y4 Be Safe Be Happy Week: Wellbeing, Meet Dottie...

7th Nov 2025

Everyone in Y4 was delighted (and very excited) to welcome another four-legged visitor to the Y4 classroom this afternoon. Dottie, wellbeing dog who works for South Yorkshire Police, and her handler, Annie, came in to talk about and demonstrate how Dottie works with SYP officers and victims of crime to offer comfort and reassurance.

The children discovered that Dottie loves retrieving her ball and is able to find it even when it was hidden in our classroom!

Huge thanks to Annie and Dottie!
