Y4 Be Safe Be Happy Week 2025: The Importance of Good Hygeine

7th Nov 2025

Our Y4 children were delighted to welcome Mrs Denham, an NHS nurse and a parent of former SJF pupils.

Mrs Denham came in to share important information about the importance of hygiene in helping us to keep safe and demonstrated to the children how to wash hands correctly, going through each stage carefully and in the correct order.

Mrs Denham also shared some amazing facts, for example, how far a sneeze can travel and how easy it is for germs to spread from unwashed hands to surfaces. Our Y4 children asked some very interesting questions!

Well done to our children, and a huge thank you to Mrs Denham too!
