Our Y4 children began learning about the ancient Greeks as part of their new history topic this week.
They discovered how ancient Greece was organised into separate and independent city states (known as polis) and that the inhabitants used their coastal locations for trade and food and that three very important polis were Athens, Sparta and Corinth.
