This term, Y4 are learning about the different features of newspaper articles.
Since they are also learning all about the Anglo Saxons, they based their newspaper reports on the famous historical tale 'Beowulf', notably the beginning of the story, at the point where the monster, Grendel, attacks an Anglo-Saxon village.
The children had a go at writing their own eye-witness accounts of the events, as if they had been there that night, as they retold the story.
