Y4 Design Technology: Investigating Levers & Linkages!

17th Jan 2025

This week, our Y4 designers began a new DT project. They investigated levers and linkages and explored how they worked to work to create moving parts in different books. The children will go on to design, make and evaluate an information card that has moving parts, which they will design and make, inspired by our class story 'How to train your dragon', by Cressida Cowell.

Here are some photographs from our first lesson, in which we investigated a range of children's books with moving parts, noting our observations and evaluations.
