Y4 Design and Technology: Creating Moving Parts

Today, our Y4 designers had the chance to put their planning into practice and create the moving parts for their dragon. We carefully followed instructions to cut out levers, and placed loose pivots (split pins) into them to form a linkage. This was then attached to the card with a fixed pivot. This took careful measuring and cutting to ensure the levers were exactly the write size and shape. It worked! Well done, everyone, you all worked very hard. Your moving dragons are taking shape!
