Y4 Art: Weaving

This week, our Y4 children explored warp and weft threads in weaving. First, they practised weaving embroidery thread in and out through a piece of hessian and then progressed to  adding warp and weft threads to their loom. The children were inspired by contrasting landscape photographs and chose appropriate colours of wool to represent either a beach or countryside scenes. A great start to our weaving project, everyone, well done!
