This week our Y3 children investigated how shadows are made.
They found it really interesting to investigate how shadows are formed by testing various transparent, translucent and opaque objects in order to observe which are best for making our shadow puppets.
They discovered that opaque objects form shadows as they are best for blocking the light rays that come from the light source.
They celebrated by creating a shadow puppet theatre and puppets, which they used to entertain classmates.
