Y3 Design Technology: Investigating Pneumatic Systems

6th Mar 2026

Our Year 3 designers have been investigating pneumatic systems. A pneumatic system uses compressed air to make things move, push or lift. Pneumatic systems use air compressors, tubes and cylinders to turn use air power to creat useful movements, such as closing bus doors or powering certain tools.
