Y3 Art: Understanding 'Mount Vesuvius' by Andy Warhol!

This week we concluded our latest Art topic during which we learned about the famous modern artist, Andy Warhol, and his incredible 'Mount Vesuvius' piece. 

Excited by his work we practised different techniques including blending powder paint carefully in order to create a block colour design that we could then use to showcase Warhol's printing style as the basis of our own pieces inspired by him. 

We had a great time taking inspiration from him and creating amazing pieces.
