Y3 Computing: Investigating Networks

15th Oct 2021

This week in our Computing lessons we investigated how computer networks are connected.

We used skipping ropes in order to visualise the connections between devices within a computing network and explored how each device works.

We learned all about network switches and how they can help pass messages and files on to other computers and we explored how servers store a variety of different files.

We also learned how wireless access points connect wireless devices to a network.
