On Tuesday, our Y2 children learned about Smartie the Penguin, who had some difficult choices to make when using the internet. The children gave Smartie advice on how best to respond to different situations when he was using his tablet. They also discussed what they could do in different situations things do not feel right.
They concluded that if anything makes you feel unhappy or unsure online, they should always tell a trusted adult after thinking carefully about who they would choose to talk to if anything caused them to worry or to be upset, when using the internet.
