Y2 Be Safe Be Happy Week 2025: Our Healthy Minds

6th Nov 2025

Mrs Manning and Mr Murphy visited the Y2 children to talk about the things that made the children feel happy and safe - thos especial things that put the children in our 'Green Zone'.

The children explored this, understanding that it is not posible to stay in Green Zone all the time. Everyone therefore talked about some of the things they can do to help them regulate when they feel unsettled so they can get back in the Green Zone, when they are not there. The children then made a regulation paper chain to hang in the classroom to remind everyone how to get back into the Green Zone.
