Y1 Science: Investigating Flowering Garden Plants

Our Y1 children have been learning about flowering plants. They began by sharing and listing plants they already knew, then explored photographs to help identify and discuss them. The children then went outside into the school grounds to look for real flowering plants. Back in the classroom, they used their observations to draw their own flowering gardens.
