Y1 National Phonics Screening Check

17th Apr 2018

The parents and carers of children in our Y1 class are invited to a special meeting on Tuesday 24th April 2018 at 3.30pm in the Y1 classroom to to discuss the Y1 'National Phonics Screening Check' and explain what it means for our children.

This is statutory assessment which will be undertaken in June by all Y1 children across the country.

We would like to invite you to attend the meeting in order to explain how you can help your child at home and to answer any questions that you might have.

Parents/carers who are unable to attend the meeting, are asked to notify the Y1 team so that the slides can be included as part of the information pack given to all children.

Supervised childcare will be provided for children close by for the duration of the meeting.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you.
