Y1 Mathematics: Fractions and Finding Half

This week the children have started learning what a half is, and how to find half of something. 

Initially they used Play-Doh to try and create two equal parts and will go on to find half of different amounts of cubes, before finding quarters of different amounts of cubes.

Look out for the home learning sheet that will come home on Friday 13th June.
