Y1 Maths: Investigating Teens Numbers!

What superstars we have in Y1! 

After the holiday, we recapped how teen numbers are made by using 10 and additional 'ones'.

For example, 14 is 10 and 4 more.

Working in pairs, the children used practical resources to show each number, demonstrating their developing understanding of place value.
