We began our new 'Toys, Now and in the Past' topic by thinking about what we already know about toys and all the what 'wonders' we had.
Everyone shared their toy with friends, naming it, describing what they did, how they worked, feels and what material it is made of.
This was a great opportunity for the children to do lots of speaking in full sentences, and listening. Everyone had a go at drawing their toys and then writing a simple phrase or sentence about them.
