Y1 Geography: Exploring London Landmarks

Our Y1 children have been learning about landmarks in London, the capital city of the the United Kingdom.

They learned the names of some of the landmarks and things that London is well-known for including:

  • Buckingham Palace
  • The Shard
  • The London Eye
  • Big Ben
  • red buses
  • black taxis
  • River Thames

They also considered whether the things they discovered were human or physical features.
