Y1 Geography: Investigating London Landmarks

The children in Y1 had a wonderful afternoon naming, describing and painting famous London landmarks. A key piece of learning was understanding that London is the capital city of the United Kingdom. Some children enjoyed sharing their own experiences of visiting London, while others—who had not yet been—particularly enjoyed watching a video showcasing its landmarks.
