Y1 English: Handa's Surprise

Our Y1 children were challenged to find sixteen fruit laminates that had been hidden around the playground. The challenged was linked to our current story, Handa's Surprise.  

Afterwards the children listened to the story, shared opinions about the different characters and talked about the animals and fruits in the story. Everyone then completed a simple book review.
