Y1 Safer Internet Day 2026

Internet safety is something we think about every day. Today, Y1 spent some focused time learning what to do if they ever feel worried, scared, or if something doesn’t feel right when they are online.

We talked about recognising “uh oh” feelings and the children know that if this happens, they should always speak to a trusted adult who can help them.

To help us remember, we created a class poster using everyone’s handprints, and we wrote the names of trusted adults on each finger.
